Vision and Mission of the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya

Vision:

To become a pioneering and innovative pharmaceutical education institution with an international reputation, grounded in culture and nationalism, to improve the health status and welfare of society.

Mission:

  1. To deliver high-quality education, research, and community service in clinical and community pharmacy at international standards, and to produce graduates who are faithful and devoted to God Almighty, possess strong moral character, are independent, professional, and entrepreneurial.
  2. To establish a pharmaceutical institution as an agent for the development and dissemination of science and technology in drug and cosmetic development, as well as clinical and community services, aimed at improving the quality of life based on noble local wisdom.
  3. To implement excellent, equitable, and sustainable departmental governance.

Objectives of the Department of Pharmacy

  1. To produce graduates with academic competence, entrepreneurial spirit, professionalism, independence, strong work ethic, discipline, noble character, and up-to-date technological insight, enabling them to compete at national and international levels.
  2. To produce innovative works in the field of pharmacy that contribute to national development, promote self-reliance, and are grounded in noble cultural values while being competitive nationally and internationally.
  3. To establish a competitive, high-tech pharmaceutical higher education environment that supports the development of all academic members.
  4. To achieve accountable, efficient, synergistic, and sustainable governance capable of competing at the national level.

Mission 1: “Providing internationally standardized education that produces graduates who are faithful and devoted to God Almighty, possess noble character, are independent, professional, and entrepreneurial” Targets:

  • Establishment of an internationally competitive institution

Mission 2: “Conducting research to generate science and technology beneficial to society” Targets:

  • Improved dissemination quality of research outcomes impacting quality of life
