MALANG, May 29, 2026 – In an effort to expand its global collaboration network and enhance international exposure, the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FKUB) officially welcomed two inbound students from France to participate in the Hospital Internship 2026 program, which will take place over the next three months.
During this pharmacist professional internship period, the two international students will be stationed at two main teaching hospitals: Dr. Saiful Anwar General Hospital (RSSA) and Universitas Brawijaya Hospital (RSUB). This series of activities is designed to provide deep practical experience regarding the clinical and community pharmaceutical care systems implemented in Indonesia.
Under the direct guidance of hospital pharmacy practitioners and supervising lecturers from the Department of Pharmacy FKUB, they will study various essential aspects, ranging from the management of pharmaceutical supplies and prescription analysis to direct involvement in patient drug therapy monitoring (PTO).
This inbound program is expected to be not merely a platform for the transfer of pharmaceutical knowledge (both scientific and clinical), but also to serve as a strategic means for cultural exchange between the two countries. This international interaction is expected to motivate local students to think globally while strengthening the position of the Department of Pharmacy FKUB on the international stage.
