Fifth and Seventh Semester Pharmacy Students Visit PT. Kosmetikatama Super Indah in Singosari

Singosari, October 9, 2025 – As part of their learning and introduction to the industrial world, fifth and seventh semester students of the Pharmacy Study Program conducted an industrial visit to PT. Kosmetikatama Super Indah, a renowned cosmetics manufacturer under the Inez brand, located in Singosari, Malang, on October 8 and 9, 2025.

This visit provided students with the opportunity to learn firsthand about various aspects of the cosmetics industry, from the company’s history, the types of products produced, to the production process at PT. Kosmetikatama Super Indah. Furthermore, students gained insight into the role of pharmacists and pharmacy graduates in the cosmetics industry, a topic not previously covered in the university curriculum.

During the visit, students were taken on a tour of the Inez production facilities, including the production room and wastewater treatment plant.

This visit provided a concrete illustration of how cosmetics production is carried out, ensuring compliance with Good Cosmetic Manufacturing Practices (CPKB).

The event was interactive and engaging. In addition to the material presented by speakers from PT. At Kosmetikatama Super Indah, students were also actively involved in question-and-answer sessions and discussions. One session that received special attention was the introduction of skincare and makeup products, followed by a makeup tutorial that directly involved the students. This session not only enhanced theoretical understanding but also provided valuable practical experience.

The students’ enthusiasm was very high throughout the event. They enthusiastically asked questions and participated in the makeup tutorial. This visit was a learning experience that enriched the students’ knowledge of the cosmetics industry and career opportunities in this field.

This industrial visit is expected to broaden students’ horizons and improve their preparedness for the world of work, particularly in the rapidly growing cosmetics sector.
