ABOUT THE COURSE
The aim of student exchange program is to give the opportunity to all the students around world to experience their field of interests in research, pharmacy practice, and community pharmacy in another country. The summer course on clinical and community pharmacy is an intensive educational program specifically designed to provide a deep understanding of the fields of clinical pharmacy and community pharmacy. The course is aimed at students and professionals who want to enhance their knowledge and skills in both areas.
During this course, participants will engage in various learning activities including lectures, group discussions, case studies, and practical sessions.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from expert instructors in the field, such as practicing pharmacists and pharmacy academics. They will provide instruction based on their real-life experiences in clinical and community practice, offering valuable practical insights. Additionally, the course may involve visits to clinical and community pharmacies, as well as other healthcare institutions, to provide firsthand experience in real-world settings. This helps participants bridge the gap between theory and practice, enriching their understanding of the role of pharmacists in various settings.
The summer course provides participants with the opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge of clinical and community pharmacy internship in a short period of time. They can also interact and collaborate with fellow course participants who share similar interests and goals.
Program Fee:
1. National Students : Rp. 3.500.000,- (include accomodation)
2. International Students :
FULLY FUNDED
*Fully funded for the first 10 participants
*Additional participants international pharmacy student pay 400 USD/person
Program fee covers:
- Free Accommodation for 3 weeks
- Daily needs (3 meals/day)
- Local Transportation
- Mount Bromo Tour
The specified fee does not include the flight ticket and visa fee. Thus, you will additionally pay for the flight and visa by yourself. However, we will issue a visa letter to make the visa process smoother for sure to the selected participants of the summer school.

COURSE OUTCOMES
By the end of the course, the participants are expected to:
- Understand the principles and practices in internship for clinical and community pharmacy in the Indonesian healthcare system.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the regulatory and legal frameworks governing the practice of pharmacy in Indonesia.
- Analyze and evaluate the safety, efficacy, and quality of medications used in clinical and community settings.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
- Develop skills in medication counseling, patient education, and medication management in community pharmacy settings.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and contribute to the advancement of clinical and community pharmacy in Indonesia.
Eligibility:
Eligibility
1. (International participant):
a. Undergraduate Pharmacy Students (2 years or above)
b. GPA: minimum 3.00 out of 4.00 or equal
c. English proficiency score*:
IBT : minimum 70
Paper based TOEFL : minimum 450
IELTS : minimum 5.0
*students who are from the institution whose medium of instruction is in English are not required to submit the above English requirements.
2. National participant:
a. Undergraduate Pharmacy Students (2 years or above)
b. GPA: minimum 3.00 out of 4.00 or equal
Prospective participants can register by filling out the registration form and uploading the following required documents:
- Scan of Student ID
- Passport-size photograph
- 1-page resume
- Scan Passport
Applications will be assessed by the organizing committee and the committee reserves the right to carry out a selection process based on the submitted registration forms in the case the number of registrants is larger than the course capacity.
